How We Lead In Machine Safety Project Management For The Manufacturing Industry

Our machine safety expertise spans large-scale assignments across the Food & Beverage, Pharmaceutical, Building Materials, and Agriculture sectors, in Australasia and beyond. Functional safety and safety design are key aspects of our Machine Safety Project Management offering.

Enhancing CHEP’s Machine Safety

We helped CHEP, a multinational pallet pooling provider, to identify and manage safety upgrades across a network of service centres in Australia and New Zealand. TEG Risk led the project from initial risk assessment and project scoping then handed over to the TEG Projects team to lead the RFQ, CapEx development and implementation phases.

All works needed to meet both Australian, New Zealand and internal standards and be delivered across 27 sites in two years.

Risk Mitigation Safety

What Distinguishes Us Is Our Ability To Manage Implementation, Not Just Recommend It

New line design review and procurement support for a large NZ Dairy Manufacturer

TEG Risk was engaged at the feasibility study stage to undertake a business case assessment of a large dairy company plant and prepare a CapEx request to address existing machine safety risks. The company had an automatic, in-line, legacy waste compactor with multiple high severity hazards.

Our project management team prepared specification and cost estimates to complete the safeguarding upgrade, using ‘Health and Safety by design’ methodology and whole-of-life cost (including maintenance costs) to justify and support approval of a new compactor and plant layout.
